Mid-Life Crisis

I think it is easy for all of us to feel at times like we are going through a “midlife crisis.” Much like a knee-jerk response to the uncertainty of the changes that are transpiring. Our desperate hope for the slowing of time only fuels our trepidation.

As we shift gears, turning left when we’ve always gone right, venturing into the unknown, we can’t help but feel the inkling of possible chaos that may erupt as a result of betraying our predictable and comfortable path.

However, we can’t let fear or uncertainty deter us from the opportunity of greater experiences.

But then again… is it not true that the very thing that creates the mysterious allure, that which scares us most?
